The train house is a prefabricated 10x16 storage building in the back yard.

After moving it here I rewired it and added insulation, drywall, lighting, and air conditioning. (Not necesarily in that order. We were doing this in July and the a/c was installed as soon as we had drywall on the back wall.) I'd like to thank Marty and Jake, two fellow engineers at work, for their assistance hanging the drywall. My brother Andy gave a hand with the drywall finishing.

Here are a couple of shots of the inside of the train house. It is 9'4" by 14'11"on the inside. The air conditioner in the back is as high as I can manage it given the framing on the end of the building. You can see the space heater in the corner under the air conditioner. The heating requirements in NC are much easier to meet than the cooling requirements!
Below is the a drawing with a plan and a rear elevation.

The windows have blinds in them and I'll plug them with 1" foam insulation sheet before installing the backdrops. The door is four feet wide, so moving sections of layout in shouldn't be any problem.
